Holistic fitness experience design for a privately-owned American health club chain

The health club chain wanted to digitally transform their existing mobile application into one that would enable continuous engagement to retain their customers.

Litehouse was involved in a mobile application envisioning exercise that integrated fitness domain trends, user motivation and user insights to provide a seamless fitness experience across home, office and the gym. The Litehouse team:

  • Performed extensive user research
  • Conducted user interviews and online surveys
  • Performed heuristic evaluation, competitive and trend analysis
  • Redesigned the information architecture
  • Incorporated interaction design elements for touch, swipe and gesture based inputs
  • Carried out visual design research depicted in mood boards
  • Developed fresh visual designs using brand colors, elements and patterns (customized for mobile interfaces) along with style guides
